Giannis Antetokounmpo

Sports branding is more than just a logo and uniforms. High-quality vector graphics can be used on merchandise or for larger-than-life environmental graphics. I illustrated this poster design of Giannis Antetokounmpo by starting with a photo and tracing over it in Adobe Illustrator, making design decisions and choosing which lines to accent throughout the process. Once Giannis was rendered, I developed a Greek Key border in the Bucks’ Great Lakes Blue and White, with the pattern being a series of G’s for Giannis. In the background of the design, a Good Land Green and black sunburst with silhouettes of the Greek Freak in action switches to Cream City Cream and white in the large 34. GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO appears at the bottom of the poster to ground the design and let everyone know exactly who they are dealing with.
