I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. As young as six years old, I remember drawing my first sports logos. Members of that league included the Miami Monsoons, New Orleans Jazz (not realizing that was the former home of the Utah Jazz), and the Atlanta Heavy Metal. (I knew nothing of what was to become one of the future homes of hip-hop, but c’mon, I was 6.) I spent the rest of my childhood drawing a mix of existing logos and my own creations.
From there, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Communications from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and throughout that journey I never lost my love of sports and sports branding. I’ve concepted identities for over 100 different teams across five leagues. In 2008, I was contracted to work with the Clinton LumberKings of the Midwest League to develop the branding for the 2009 MWL All-Star Game.
I believe looking good helps a team play to their fullest potential. The confidence built from a great brand translates to success on the field. Please contact me to discuss brand identity solutions that will help your team look better, feel better, and most importantly, play better.
