A member of the NHL’s “Next Six,” the Blues haven’t much deviated from their original insignia, the Blue Note. This concept takes a fresh look at that by articulating the note’s wing and updating the note to a hockey stick. Accompanied by a roundel with a music staff, a vibrant StL mark, and a more classic note, the logo set celebrates the rich heritage of St. Louis. The music staff is carried through to the script, while there are two sets of numerals for the three sweaters. The home and road sweaters continue the modernization of the identity, while the athletic gold third celebrates the Gateway to the West, a.k.a. the St. Louis Arch.
