The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were known as the Appleton Foxes before 1995. The Foxes used the classic royal-and-red color scheme before switching to the Mariners’ navy-and-teal and a logo with an AF and a baseball. With the Timber Rattlers’ name came the burgundy, paired with black and silver (and gold and red if you count the logo). My concept focuses strictly on burgundy and pairs it with orange and some silver outlining. The primary mark is the team’s script, FOXES< with FOX CITIES above it, but the most graphic part of the identity is the fox head roundel. A standalone F appears on the caps. The home and away uniforms feature the FOXES script across the chest with the player number below on the player’s left side. A burgundy jersey for home and away and an orange jersey for home games are also available. Lastly, a cream throwback graces viewers’ eyes with the standalone F over the heart.
