The New York Islanders employed a lighthouse logo from 1995 to 1998. In that vein, I created a lighthouse roundel with a dock rope border. I also stylized the team’s classic NY logo into a rondel and a standalone version. The final piece of the logo set is an anchor with four stripes denoting the team’s four Stanley Cup championships. The typeface is derived from the Long Island sign at Gantry Plaza State Park. The home and away uniforms feature the aforementioned dock rope striping with a contrast shoulder yoke and sleeve cuffs. The third jersey is orange accented with navy sleeves. and the NY roundel logo.
