Winnipeg Jets

After a 15 year absence, NHL hockey returned to Winnipeg with the relocation of the former Atlanta Thrashers. While the current incarnation of the Jets settled on a color palette of polar night blue, aviator blue, silver, red, and white, my version fully embraces the Canadian Air Force after which they were named with a scheme of olive drab, navy, red, and white. The primary logo consists of a military jets coming toward the viewer against a starkly shaded maple leaf. It is complemented by a reflective W/maple leaf hybrid, a maple leaf roundel and a standalone jet. The typeface is an original stencil block serif. The home jersey embraces the olive hue against navy breezers and a navy helmet, while the aways swap the white and olive from the homes. The alternate evokes memories of the original Jets in navy with a white stripe along the sleeves and red breezers.
