Florida Panthers

The Panthers changed their logo in 2016 from a leaping panther to a more stoic big cat on a shield. In the process they de-emphasized the tropical aspects of South Florida. My Panthers logo contains a snarling panther against an abstract sun. A standalone panther head, an FP tooth mark, and a Florida/stick roundel complete the logo set. The typeface is inspired by a panther’s teeth with claw marks giving a slight distressed feel. The sweaters have claw marks on the sleeves and a collar that reflects the hair of a panther’s chest. The alternates add sublimated palm trees for a nighttime jungle look.
